Coastal Plain

We will travel along the coastal road to ancient Maritime Caesarea, the city and port built by Herod the Great. We will visit the archaeological excavations, the theater and the Roman aqueduct and the crossed ruins. We will continue to Aco, where we will visit the crusaders' rooms and the underground city. We will walk through the Old City, the Oriental Market, passing the Arab Mosque. We will continue to Rosh Hanikrá, where we will descend by cable car to visit the limestone caves, on the border with Lebanon. On the way back, we will stop for a panoramic view of the Bahai Temple and Persian Gardens in Haifa.
