Jordan and Egypt: Individuals and Families

Gather us on a special trip along the same route as the biblical Exodus. Come and discover one of the seven wonders of the world in Egypt: the pyramids of Giza. Climb Mount Sinai, where Moses received the Ten Commandments, and visit the oldest monastery in the world at Santa Catalina. In Jordan, we continue to see the 2,000-year-old city, Petra, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Local tradition says that in Wadi Musa, "Valley of Moses", outside Petra, is the place where Moses hit the rock and drew water. Petra was almost certainly the last of the three kings, who took incense, gold and myrrh for baby Jesus. Mount Nebo is where Moses saw the Holy Land of Canaan, the Promised Land that he never stepped in.
